Mother Thamizh is known for her, “Endrum Pathinaaru” meaning, Ever sixteen. This phase states that the Mother of Tamil is always a 16-year-old young girl despite it being the oldest language in the world. This unique title is used to describe her for her rapid growth in the modern world. Similarly, The Yuvathi - Women Empowerment Cell of DBJC creates a talented woman who has the strength to face any chaos in her life all by herself throughout her life. The word Yuvathi carries connotations of youthfulness, femininity, and sometimes innocence or purity similarly DBJC Yuvathi creates women who will always stay young in their field. DBJC Yuvathi plays a pivotal role in creating mentally and physically strong women. By providing exceptional care for their health and by organizing unwavering Gender Equity programs among all students, DBJC Yuvathi has achieved its fulfillment.

Empowering women and promoting gender equality are integral to our mission in DBJC. The Yuvathi Women Empowerment Cell, led by faculty and student convenors, champions initiatives aimed at advancing the rights and opportunities of women on campus. Through mentorship programs, leadership workshops, and awareness campaigns, the cell empowers women to break barriers, pursue their aspirations, and contribute meaningfully to society.
