About NAD

National Academic Depository (NAD) is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Govt. of India (MHRD) to facilitate digital issuance, storage, access, and verification of Academic Awards issued by Academic Institutions. NAD is a Unique, Innovative and Progressive initiative under the “Digital India” theme towards achieving Digital enablement of the Education Records.

NAD aspires to make the vision of Digital Academic Certificates for every Indian a reality. This touches the lives of Indian youth and empowers them with Digital, Online, Trusted, Verifiable Certificates which are accessible in a secure manner at all times. NAD promises to do away with the difficulties and inefficiencies of collecting, maintaining, and presenting physical paper certificates.

Student Registration Guidelines

UG and PG Students of Dhanraj Baid Jain College (Autonomous) must register in DigiLocker through the Student Registration Portal. Note: The NAD Cell of Dhanraj Baid Jain College facilitates the registration of students on the DigiLocker portal.

• The students need to register in DigiLocker and obtain a NAD ID only once.
• The same NAD ID has to be used for multiple degrees or higher education of the same student.
• Students who have already registered themselves in NAD and are holding a valid NAD ID are required to submit their Student Register Number and the NAD ID obtained to the NAD Cell through their respective Department Level NAD Coordinator for linking and mapping activity.
